Maintain Your Microchanneling Results
- Do not tan before your appointment or have a sunburnt face upon arrival
- Do not take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E, Fish Oil, or Ibuprofen 24 hours before the procedure
- No alcohol or caffeine two days before the procedure
- No waxing, tweezing, or tinting for at least 48 hours before the procedure
- Stop any electrolysis five days before your microchannling appointment
It’s important to note that your skin will be more sensitive during your menstrual cycle.
- If there is any solution left in the vial, roll it on within 15 minutes post-microchanneling
- The day after your service, apply Procell serum and accelerator to the face in the morning and evening
- If your skin feels tight after treatment, you can apply aloe vera or the recommended moisturizer once 90 minutes have passed
- Do not apply sunscreen until the following morning.
- Do not apply any additional topicals for at least 6 hours after treatment
- Wait seven days before applying Vitamin C or Retinol 7
- On days two, three, and four after your microchanneling treatment, you should apply extra moisturizer to prevent trans-epidermal moisture loss and dry skin
Post-treatment, be sure to avoid intentional and direct sunlight, swimming, exercising, and strenuous activity for 24 hours. Additionally, pet dander can irritate the skin, so be sure to have freshly washed sheets and pillowcases and avoid excessive interaction with pets.
